How does the ground source heat pump work?
After the heat is absorbed from the ground at low temperatures it is transferred into the fluid mixture within the pipe loop. As the fluid is pushed through the compressor, the appliance that stands within the property, the temperature of the heat rises. Thus energy to heat your home is created.
The pipe loop runs from the appliance out of the property and into the garden. It is led two meters deep into the ground then laid flat but coiled around the garden at that level. Although electricity is required to run the appliance, ground source heat pumps are constantly being renewed by natural energy.
